No Place Like Home

Green Valley is as much a noun as it is a verb because it is unique in the way that it operates. All of the housing developments have standards that have to be met. All of the residents are required to be a part of the Neighborhood Watch program. The buildings also have to be close to identical. Many of the houses have the exact same floor plan.

Guterson's Tone is by far, Informative. He explains every detail of the neighborhoods that were in Green Valley. But he doesn't stop there, he also tells about cities all over the US that are developing the same as Green Valley. Another thing that he does, is on certain pieces of information that he gives, he adds one thing about it in parenthetical notation.

I think that communities like this aren't really that satisfying. Back home in Kingsport, there was a neighborhood that had both middle and wealthy class of people that lived there. They also had the neighborhood watch program which made the neighborhood safe. By having both classes together, it makes people have a better attitude with each other.
